John "Geoduck" Pearch
John Pearch lives life. An ultra-runner, a Randonneur and an ultra-cyclist among other things, John peruses life with a passion few can match if even approach.

In addition, John is the Co-Founder of the Capitol Peak 50 mile and 55K a fundraiser for the Friends of Capitol Forest, a nonprofit group working to improve trails in Capitol State Forest. Between 2007 and 2011 we donated almost $5000 of the proceeds from this race to Friends of Capitol Forest to help towards cost of equipment for the continued trail work and other environmental stewardship programs that is evolving in the Forest.
In addition, John is the founder of the Capitol Peak Mega Fat Ass 34 mile and 17 mile. The Mega Fat Ass has donated over $5000 of proceeds to various charities.
